What offers better job prospects: T10 Law School (Michigan or Virginia most likely) or becoming a TTT Doctor (M.D. in the Carribean or D.O. in the USA)?

Assuming you do well in the Carribean or DO schools (no academic issues, decent board scores) the job prospects are fine (barring entry into uber-competitive specialties). If your real question, is which pathway is financially better/safe/sensible etc, that's a bit tougher!

I wouldn't say that all DO schools are TTT. For example Des Moines University's DO school seems to produce consistently high quality grads.
For the time being, ANY American medical degree (DO or MD) is a better investment than a Caribbean medical degree.

this is a common question, in my opinion the ttt MD always has it better "if" they make it through residency.

I wonder if the Carribean MD who is influenced by your post will shoot themselves when they are locked out of the US match in 2015-6?
At least DOs have the AOA match if their USMLE scores prevent them from matching with an ACGME accredited residency program...

ttt MD =/ Carribean MD. Carribean MD is border-line illegitimate (maybe w/the exception of St. George) and their future is bleak
