I don't see what the big deal is. This lady seems to be very well educated and has a lot of experience in the field. She probably can do a better job in her field than any fresh out of school (or residency) MD.

Imagine what derms see daily. Would you like to treat people who have cystic acne and skin cancer every day? That would be depressing. I think people who suffer from acne are more miserable than obese folks.

Fresh out of school? almost definitely. Out of residency? Not sure sure. Residency training has A LOT of contact time for training. Way more than RN's, DNP's, PA's etc.
